A big learning goal for me would be to understand what words mean.

Asking friends what they mean.
Asking the teacher.
Googling.

How will I know when I have achieved my goal?

When someone asks what a word means I can tell them what it means.
I will be using more words in my writing.
I will be using more words in conversations with people.
